In the event sponsored by the Dr. Antoni Esteve Foundation, the Spanish Society of Gene and Cell Therapy, the Autonomous University of Madrid, the Teófilo Hernando Foundation Institute and the TerCel Network (Cellular Therapy Network), Juan Carlos Ramírez gave a talk entitled “Manufacturing of viral vectors for gene therapy: current difficulties and challenges“.
In the symposium the speakers talked about in vivo gene therapy, ex vivo gene therapy, their applications, as well as the importance of infrastructures in gene therapy.
