Graduate in Pharmacy from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), and Master’s Degree in Galenic Design and Manufacturing in the Pharmaceutical Industry from the University of Navarra (UNAV).

In the Master’s project, she carried out the galenic development and designed the production process of an injectable for intravenous administration.

She started her career in the pharmaceutical industry at FAES Farma, in the R&D&I department, mainly carrying out quality activities in the Pilot Plant as well as supporting the development of different pharmaceutical forms.

Currently, Saioa is part of the Quality Assurance – Manufacturing Department of VIVEbiotech.
