VIVEbiotech has received the visit of the Deputy Minister of Technology, Innovation and Competitiveness, and the Director of Technology and Strategy of the Basque Government

The guests have met with Gurutz Linazasoro, CEO, José Manuel Franco, COO, Juan Carlos Ramírez, CSO/CTO, and Natalia Elizalde, Business Development Director of VIVEbiotech.

After a meeting where they have been presented the activities of the company, the event has ended with a visit to the facilities. The guests have thus been able to see both the research laboratories and the GMP production area where the lentiviral vectors to be applied in humans are produced. VIVEbiotech is the only company in the State that manufactures these vehicles to be used in human gene therapy clinical trials to cure diseases of genetic origin.
